Patti Caparros founded Works of Heart Counseling with purpose and genuine concern for those whose lives are broken and are seeking healing and wholeness. She has walked the journey of pain and trauma in her own life. Her passion is to serve and facilitate healing in other's lives and relationships. Life experiences, such as being raised in a pastor's home, married in an addictive relationship, the death of a child and other experiences have caused her to work on her own personal growth. She believes that we have our own part in healing and God is ultimately responsible to do the final work of art.  She has great purpose and passion for you and your family's love, intimacy and emotional health.

She is passionate about people and the issues in this culture that cause them fear and anxiety. Our lives are being invaded today, by our culture’s intensity.  She teaches couples how to bond, communicate, deal with past issues and ultimately love unconditionally.  Her training and teaching involves researched based data.  Patti has been trained in EMDR and Brainspotting.  Both are very effective to lower anxiety, lessen the affects of PTSD, and past trauma.  She is affiliated with Dr. Amen’s clinic of brain research and development.  All of this together leads to affective healing in those that are seeking to live life with a capital L.
