Jim Robbins is the author of, "Recover Your Good Heart - Living Free From Religious Guilt and the Shame of Not Good-Enough."

Dwight Edwards, advisor to Larry Crabb, said of Jim's book, "With profound insight, compassion, and solid biblical support, Jim resurrects one of the most forgotten and overlooked truths in our day."

Jim is a former pastor, and currently writes and speaks on the theme of the good and noble heart, exposing the false gospel of pressure and shame that treats your heart with condemnation and suspicion.

In Christ, your heart is your ally, not your enemy.

Jim writes especially for Christians who are tired of being told they are 'prone to wander.'  It's the biggest myth in Christianity today.   Before we come to Christ, our heart is 'prone to wander;'  yet after  we enter friendship with Jesus, a wholesale change takes place immediately:  We are given new natures, new hearts and appetites for loving and living well.

Spiritual growth isn't fixing a bad heart; it's about nourishing and releasing a new heart that has taken its place.

You can still sin, but it's no longer in your heart to do so.
