I suspect that men have sometimes derived
more spiritual sustenance from myths they did
not believe than from the religion they
professed. To be truly Christian we must
both assent to the historical fact and also
receive the myth (fact though it has become)
with the same imaginative embrace with which we accord
to all the myths.
- C. S. Lewis
"Myth Become Fact" from God in the Dock
Story is the language of the heart. When we
experience story, we experience truth that
transcends our intellectual fact. At our events and
in our materials, we use our modern myths... movies... to help
people see past the facts and into the deeper truth.
So our allies at Expedition Base
Camp have have collected movie clips
that illustrate in story what is true in the Larger
Story.
